Background Story

George, the headliner of the Cirque du Soleil, was once a star performer. He worked tirelessly during the first half of his life to finally achieve his dream. However, during the so-called 'final performance' of that show, he stood on stage and ended his own life with a gun. Following this tragedy, the circus fell into decline and closed its doors. No one in the entire town knew why, and there were not enough records documenting George's life. As a newcomer in the archives of the Time and Space Administration, your very first mission is to complete George's identity profile and uncover the secrets of his life.

Experience Flow

Act I — The Golden Years

At the age of 19, Henry stepped onto the circus stage carrying his dreams. During the golden age of the circus, he personally experienced his own decade of glory—shining under the spotlight and reveling in the cheers of the audience. Guided by a voiceover, players will step close to the motion capture equipment and perform with the clown, using the grand stage and the thunderous applause to recapture the peak moment of this character's career.

Act II: The Decline of the Circus

As the flames of war erupted, the circus gradually fell into ruin, and the clown was forced to perform humiliating acts. The expressions on the masks he crafted inside his cabinet grew increasingly somber. Players must use a flashlight to investigate the remnants in the cabinet, gather three complete masks in the space, and arrange them in the correct order. Once these "fragments" of time are unlocked, the player will be plunged into the torrent of the clown's memories from this era.

Act III - The Golden Years

Under the heavy pressure of reality, Henry endured years of humiliating performances. After the war ended, he felt that since he couldn't make everyone remember him through acting, he could use his death to etch himself into history. So, on the stage of his final curtain call, he fired a shot and ended his own life. Players need to interact with NPC actors to obtain props, and then use the clues in the room to uncover the clown's final suicide note and retrieve the last memory fragment.
